Honorable Wesley G. Marshall has been elected to a three-year term as Chairman of the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission (VWC), Richmond, VA – The Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission is proud to announce that Chairman Wesley G. Marshall has been elected to the Board of Trustees for the International Workers’ Compensation Foundation (IWCF). The IWCF is a respected non-profit organization dedicated to promoting research, analysis, and educational programming in the field of workers’ compensation. The Foundation also facilitates a Senior Regulators Advisory Council, bringing together leading workers’ compensation regulators to collaborate on emerging trends and challenges within the industry.
Chairman Marshall expressed his commitment to serving in this new capacity, stating: “It is an honor to join the IWCF Board of Trustees and contribute to advancing the important work of promoting best practices and education in workers’ compensation. KENTUCKY
Just last week, the Kentucky State Senate confirmed five Administrative Law Judges who were appointed by Governor Andy Beshear. Laura Beasley of Louisville, Tonya Clemons of Georgetown, Peter Naake of Louisville, Amanda Perkins of Lexington, and Tom Polites of Lexington were successfully confirmed. Judges Clemons, Naake, Perkins, and Polites were reappointed to the ALJ panel, while Judge Beasley was appointed for her first term.
